Comparison of chemical resistance of UPVC and CPVC Saddle Joint and applicable industrial scenarios

UPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) and CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) are thermoplastic materials widely used in piping systems. Their Saddle Joints have different chemical resistance, which directly affects their applicability in specific industrial scenarios. 1. Chemical resistance characteristics of UPVC Saddle Joint

Strong acid resistance: Good tolerance to most inorganic acids (such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid) and some organic acids.
Not resistant to strong oxidants and some solvents: such as concentrated nitric acid, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. may corrode UPVC.
